Kim Slaughter
I am 56 years old. I am a social media manager, graphic designer, activist, philanthropist, marketing consultant and business owner currently living in Conway, Arkansas.
I am the director and founder of Faulkner County Paw friends serving the future Faulkner County Shelter.
I own The Blue Focus Marketing, BCH Holdings, Toad Suck Adventure Park and Conway Remodeling.
My husband and I recently opened Toad Suck Mini Golf in October 2021. We put everything on the line to open up the course because we believed in the positive impact this would make on our community. A fun, family entertainment business, such as Toad Suck Mini Golf, is just what the great city of Conway needed. I don't do this all for money, I do it for my community and my employees. Being able to provide jobs for people is a great accomplishment.
My interests range from entrepreneurship to volunteering. I make it my mission to support as many local non-profits and organizations and involve myself in as many community service projects as possible. I volunteer my marketing services and donate to the Harbor Home, Bethlehem House, and Deliver Hope, just to name a few. A portion of our sales, from Toad Suck Mini Golf, have been donated to Casa and the Harbor Home. This is my greatest achievement thus far. I am very proud to be able to do these things for a city that opened its arms to my husband and me.
I started Business Professional Leading Conway group in 2018 as a way for business owners to connect and build relationships with other business owners in Central Arkansas.
I was honored with Women in Business award in 2017 by the Conway Area Chamber of Commerce. I attended Conway Area Leadership Institute in 2018.
I have been married to my husband, John, for 13 years. He owns Conway Remolding and More. We have four Chihuahuas. Together, we have built a life that has been recognized by our community and peers.
To any young entrepreneur I would say this, “Follow your dreams, do what you love, and be fearless in your pursuits.”
